About Us

With funeral homes in Tucson, Oro Valley, Nogales and Douglas, family-owned Adair Funeral Homes have been in business more than 60 years. We offer complete mortuary and funeral service needs with a caring touch.

Our original and main location, situated in what is now central Tucson, was opened by the Adair family in 1956. The original building has had two major additions over the years to keep up with the growth of the area and the number of families we serve.

Keeping with the Adair family's goal of providing a true community service, our original chapel also provides contractual services to Pima County, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Department of the Air Force and the Bureau of Prisons. We also provide services for the Southern Arizona Missing In Action Project.

We maintain our own crematory on premises with multiple retorts available to provide services for our families.

Opened in 1984 after being moved from the old Spanish mansion, the Avalon Chapel on Northern in Oro Valley predominantly serves Tucson's North side as well as the several communities located north of metro Tucson.

The large chapel, with seating for approximately 200, is entirely decorated with stained glass butterflies. This chapel also contains a large central solarium which many families use either for memorial services or receptions following their chapel service. We have our own crematory on the premises to serve the needs of our families desiring cremation.
