Considered one of the oldest crafts on the continent, Indigenous basket weaving is an intricate, beautiful, and highly functional art that involves the painstaking weaving of various plant materials. Join expert and author Terry DeWald for a discussion of the history and artistry of a wide variety of both antique and contemporary basketry styles. DeWald will also have baskets available for sale. Talks at 11 AM and 1 PM. No reservation required.
