About Us

Pima County Library System branches provide the full array of modern library services with 27 locations throughout Pima County. Oro Valley Public Library has proudly been serving the community of Oro Valley since April 17, 2002.

Notable features of the Oro Valley Public Library include two meeting rooms for non-profit and community group use, three study rooms, a seed library, culture passes, Heritage Collection (AZ history books), separate Children's Room, Tween Area, and Teen 101 Space with 3D printer, quiet study areas near the windows and computer classroom, public computers, laptops for use in the library, and copy/print/fax machine (10 cents/side for copies/prints, $1.00/page for faxes).

We offer a variety of free classes, storytimes, book clubs, gaming and discussion groups, and more. There is something fun to learn and explore for all ages at the library!

The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library operate the Book Shoppe in the library. The Book Shoppe sells donated books, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, book bags, handmade cards, bookmarks, and many other items to benefit the library ... and you!

Other nearby locations include Nanini Library at Ina and Shannon, Dewhirst-Catalina Library at 15631 N. Oracle Rd., #199, and Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library at Cortaro and Silverbell. Hours of operation vary by location.
