Golden Goose Thrift Shop

Non-Profit Community Orgs

About Us

The Golden Goose Thrift Shop is Northwest Tucson's premier shopping destination of its kind, offering low prices on high-quality goods, with all the net proceeds donated to charity. Come to Catalina for great deals!

Manned by volunteers, and living on donations, The Golden Goose Thrift Shop divides its earnings between SaddleBrooke Community Outreach and IMPACT of Southern Arizona. In its first 14 years, it has donated $10 million to charity. The money supports a food bank, a clothing bank, a senior nutrition program, youth programs, the Kids' Closet, the Teen Closet, scholarships, English as a Second Language classes, the Tri-Communities Food Bank, summer enrichment programs, Meals on Wheels and the local senior center.

Saddlebrooke Community Outreach and Impact of Southern Arizona each elect half of the members of the Golden Goose Board of Directors, and appoint one member representative each to report back to their respective boards. All profits generated by the Golden Goose Thrift Shop are divided equally between the two member organizations.

April is The Goose's birthday month; it turns 15 on the 15th.
