About Us

The Arizona Heroes Memorial will be open to the public, a place honoring those brave, outstanding individuals past and present who have dedicated their lives to ensuring our American values.

The Memorial will be unique to Arizona, a dedicated place to provide people with a physical space to remember, learn and preserve our history. It will be built in Oro Valley's Naranja Park, on 2.5 acres donated by the Town of Oro Valley, and overlooking the Catalina Mountains.

Some fast facts about the Memorial:

- The memorial will represent over 1.5 million people in Arizona honoring Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, First Responders & Healthcare workers;

- The base is a star on the ground is approximately 90 feet wide from point to point;

- It is the only memorial of its kind west of the Mississippi and unique to the United States;

- The monument tower is about 24 feet high;

- There will be a quiet place for engraved pavers / bricks honoring friends and family;

- It will have a covered pavilion for ceremonies and educational events;

- It will be heavily shaded with native trees and shrubs;
