About Us

The YMCA of Southern Arizona is dedicated to improving the quality of human life, and to helping all people realize their fullest potential through the development of Spirit, Mind and Body.

Everyone is welcome at the Y.

We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

The YMCA of Southern Arizona, as a cause-driven organization, strives to:
• empower youth through physical activity and educational programs
• provide individuals and families with tools and programs to build a strong spirit, mind and body
• look within our community to serve.

By focusing on the specific areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility, our goal is to make Tucson a healthier community while building strong partnerships with local and city organizations to provide the programs and services that empower, nurture and excite!
